Within the framework of the Academic Advising Work Plan, the 2025-2026 Spring Semester Academic Advising Meeting was held on May 4, 2026, by Asst. Prof. Dr. Cihangir KASAPOĞLU, one of the academic advisors for the Public Relations and Publicity Program within the Department of Marketing and Advertising.

During the meeting, which was attended by 31 students, the following topics were discussed:

• General Operations: Definition of rules, the scope of advising activities, and communication with staff.

• Academic Regulations: Information on education and examination regulations, exams, quizzes, assignments, and evaluation processes.

• Problem Solving: Guidance on frequently encountered problems and their solutions.

• Library Resources: Information regarding the use of the library.

• Extracurricular Activities: Introduction of student clubs and encouraging students to participate in scientific, cultural, artistic, and sporting activities organized at the university.

• Campus Facilities: Information on other institutional facilities (dining hall, sports facilities, laboratories, etc.) and their usage.

• Exchange Programs: Information regarding Erasmus, Farabi, and Mevlana exchange programs.

• Student Support Services: Access to the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Center and the Unit for Students with Disabilities.

• Awareness & Prevention: Combating addictions: drugs, smoking and hookah, alcohol, and digital addiction.

• Projects: Information on national and international student projects.

• Double Major (ÇAP): Information regarding double major opportunities.

• Entrepreneurship: Briefings on entrepreneurship topics.

• Alumni Relations: Information on the active use of the Alumni Information System.
