Bartın 75th Year Nursing Home Staff Given "Effective Communication Skills" Training

Bartın University Bartın Vocational School Public Relations and Promotion Program Faculty Member Dr. Lecturer Özkan Avcı provided a training titled "Effective Communication Skills" on May 06, 2025 for the staff of the Bartın 75th Year Nursing Home Directorate affiliated with the Bartın Family and Social Services Provincial Directorate. The training aimed to strengthen the communication of the nursing home staff with residents, relatives of the patients and colleagues.
The training focused on communication skills such as effective listening, empathy, correct and understandable expressions, use of body language, conflict management and coping with stress. In his presentation using interactive methods, Dr. Lecturer Özkan Avcı offered solutions to the communication problems encountered by the staff in their daily work lives and reinforced the topics with practical examples.
