He Shared His Experiences With Our Students

Mehmet Çetinkaya, Chairman of the Board of BRTV, who attended the conference held at our university, shared his knowledge and experience with the students.

A conference on “Communication-Media and Public Relations” was held in cooperation with Bartın Vocational School (Bartın Vocational School) and our University's Career Planning Application and Research Center. Students showed great interest in the event, which was held as part of industry meetings.

Speaking at the opening of the event, our University Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun said, “As Bartın University, we want to prepare our students for the future in the best possible way and to graduate them as qualified individuals. In this direction, while raising our students in quality education and research environments, we also bring them together with sector representatives. Thus, our students gain experience in business life through exemplary events, briefings and workshops.”

Mehmet Çetinkaya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BRTV, made a speech titled “Communication-Media and Public Relations”. Starting the seminar with a video about his journalism life, Çetinkaya gave place to success stories in his professional life and issues that would be considered turning points for him.

Stating that he received his journalism education at Marmara University Press and Broadcasting School, Çetinkaya stated that he started journalism in Batı Karadeniz Ekspres Newspaper in Karabük, and in 1996 he stepped into television and radio broadcasting with BRTV.

Çetinkaya, who shared his publications in many countries of the world and his travel notes about the countries he visited, gave various advice to the students.

After receiving mutual questions and answers, the event was attended by Bartın Vocational School Director Assoc. Dr. It ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Çetinkaya by Ayşe Genç Lermi.

After the seminar, Çetinkaya visited Rector Uzun in his office and got information about the works carried out by Bartın University for the development of our country, starting from its region.
