The Bartın Vocational School Marketing and Advertising Department Advisory Board met on December 11, 2025. The meeting, chaired by Department Head Dr. Cihangir Kasapoğlu, was attended by Lecturer Yahya Akkaya, Department Advisory Board Member Sevgi Salcı, student representatives Gökhan Başoğlu and İrem Yılmaz.

The meeting addressed important agenda items such as MEDEK accreditation processes, program educational objectives, updating course content, evaluation of organized events, student survey results, and course assignments for the 2025-2026 Spring semester. The Board stated that the program's educational objectives have been updated in accordance with MEDEK criteria and that course plans have been revised in line with sectoral needs. It was also emphasized that the events organized within the department have received significant student interest and that these events will continue.

According to the student evaluation survey results, the overall satisfaction rate was reported to be high, while action plans were also created for areas requiring improvement. The suitability of course assignments and weekly schedules for the 2025-2026 Spring semester was approved by the board. The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the continuation of the department's quality and development efforts through stakeholder participation.
