Orientation Training for Our New Students

Our students who have just started our Public Relations and Promotion Program were given a comprehensive orientation training that started at 11:00 on October 3, 2004, with the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year. 
Head of Department Lecturer. See. Dr. Cihangir Kasapoğlu and Lecturer. In the training given by Yahya Akkaya, information was given about our university, province, faculty and department. In addition, students' rights and responsibilities, 
academic consultancy, course syllabuses, double major and minor applications, exchange programs, quality processes, participation in scientific events, health services, library services, social activities, 
information about Psychological Counseling and Guidance Application and Research Center, zero waste. Project, issues such as energy efficiency, water efficiency and part-time employment were also touched upon.
Bartın Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Ayşe Genç Lermi and Deputy Directors also attended. Prof. made the opening speech of the training. Dr. Ayşe Genç Lermi especially emphasized the importance of students' participation in quality processes. 
She stated that students' contribution to the educational process by actively sharing their opinions and suggestions will make a significant contribution to the continuous development of the institution. 
Prof. Dr. Ayşe Genç Lermi emphasized that students are a part of the educational institution and added that their feedback is taken into consideration and efforts to provide a better educational experience will continue.

Head of Training Department Lecturer. See. Dr. Cihangir Kasapoğlu and Lecturer. It was given by Yahya Akkaya. Fighting addiction was one of the most emphasized topics in education. 
Students were told about the harms of addictive substances and ways to protect themselves from them. In addition, the projects and activities carried out by our university and the Green Crescent in the fight against addiction were also introduced.

At the end of the orientation training, the training ended after our students' questions were answered and the first-year representative was selected.
