Social Media Training for Special Provincial Administration Staff

Lecturer from our Marketing and Advertising Department. Dr. Özkan Avcı gave 
"Corporate Social Media Usage" training to the staff of Bartın Governorship, Special Provincial Administration.
In the training, the details of social media use and the importance of digital security were emphasized. In the training held on October 18, 2024 at the Bartın Special Provincial Administration Conference Hall,
how to manage social media accounts with corporate identity, methods of producing correct content and precautions to be taken
against possible risks were discussed in detail. Dr. Avcı stated that social media is a powerful tool that allows institutions
to communicate more closely with citizens and said, "Social media has an important place in the communication
strategies of institutions today, but for effective and safe use, the staff must be knowledgeable and sensitive.
Incorrect posts affect the image of the institution." "It can cause harm as well as legal problems.
Therefore, it is of great importance to raise awareness of the staff about digital security." he said. The training, organized in cooperation with Bartın Governorship and Bartın University,
aimed to provide participants with knowledge and skills to become more conscious and competent about social media.
